AI image creation is fun but at times it’s not accurate

I recently started to dabble with AI-generated images. I figured it would be worth a try and fun to see what the generator would come up.

So far it’s been hit or miss. Some are spot on while others are a bit off.

Granted you type your image idea into a text box so spelling is important.

AI images are fun to create

I’ve had some fun creating a few different AI images. Mainly to see the difference between the free programs. I also want to see how accurate they are.

I like the ease of use

I love the ease of use. All you have to do is type your prompt or sentence, press a button, and wait for it to generate.

I will admit sometimes you get what you typed while other times you might get something else.

The off images may be in the same category just not what you requested.

Watch for typos

I created an image the other day and didn’t realize it had a typo until I had already finished and shared the post.

I noticed that this can happen with text-requested images. Or maybe it’s the way the text is typed.

I had typed a request that included the term Collaborate with Us.

I will admit I did have a typo in my text but when back and fixed it and regenerated the image. Yet the image still had a spelling error.

So it’s always good to double-check the images before downloading them.

Being specific helps

I think being specific on the image you’d like may help eliminate some typos or other errors but again it may not be foolproof. Being that AI is always learning there are bound to be some errors or surprises along the way.

Here are a few AI image generators

I found a few AI image generators some are free but may require a subscription after a set free limited allowance.

Image FX

I found this one while searching for free AI image generators. I like that it’s free to use and it’s pretty accurate to a degree.

The images are easy to save, copy, or download.

I like that it’s free to use. You do need to log in using a Google account.

Pixlr

Pixlr has a free account but I think it limits you to a set number of images. They have a credit system.

I haven’t used the service much so you’ll have to check it out to learn more.

I will add they offer a variety of AI software as well not just AI image generation.

Caraiyon

This site is free to use and offers a pretty good mix of AI image options from images, drawings, or art.

This one also seems to be the one that may not be the best at generating an image properly. I think it may depend on your image request.

Honorable software mentions

Dall-E

Dall-E is an older AI image generator. They offer a free online version that you can use. But you are limited to 5 images a month unless you’d like to upgrade.

Microsoft AI image generator

Microsoft has an AI image generator. I haven’t used it but I’ve read a few good things about it. You do need to sign in using your Microsoft account and your images can be saved to One Drive.
