I had a scam text sent to me this week and figured I'd try out Norton Genie What Norton Genie does is that anylizes the text or image you paste into it. It will notify you if it's a scam. You can paste text or a URL into the text box provided. that's what I did and it took a few seconds to a minute (time may vary). It was straightforward to use. I liked that it told me that the text I was sent was clearly a scam. I knew it was but I figured I'd try out the software to see how accurate it was. Once your text or image is finished processing your results will be shown. You can follow more prompts to learn more or you can end your session by tapping That's all thanks. A quick overview sharing about the Skullcandy app. This is the Android version. The app is straightforward to use. It shows your connected devices. intro:0:00 scam call: 1:07 What you can do:2:24 I had an interesting call earlier today. The call was automated and it stated that Search Local was trying to get in contact with me regarding my Google Business listing. I don't use Google Business listing since my business (Life with Pal) doesn't have a storefront location. This call was made from a 928-735-3138. I Googled the area code and it appears to be based in Arizona. But the exact phone number wasn't found. This doesn't seem to be a new scam it's a few years old. If you do have a business that uses Google listings you can submit a complaint. The email I was sent was a general autogenerated reply directing you to articles you can read and suggesting you file a complaint with the Do Not Call list if you are US-based. Google Business listing Scam call
intro: 0:00 loan call message: 0:19 It appears the hardship loan scam calls are back again. These calls aren't new I've been receiving them for the last few years. They are always automated calls and request you to call back for a 5-minute chat about your loan. The phone numbers that call have ranged from across the United States. The callback numbers for a time were based in Northern California. They are now giving a 1-800 number as the callback. This is a scam. Please don't fall for it.
