A while ago I shared that I had been able to select a free sample Aussie product thanks to P&G Everyday community.

It took me a bit to start using the conditioner but so far I’ve loved it.

I’ve tried other Aussie products in the past

Like with many hair care products I’ve tried a few Aussie products in the past. Back in 2020, I tried another conditioner.

You can check out that video below.

The product

Aussie Deep Thoughts Reconstructing Conditioner is sold in 2 types a tube and bottle option. I was sent the tube.

The tube has a flip top and is easy to hold in your hand.

Depending on your hair type and hair needs everyone has different results when using a product for the first time. This is also the case when you only have access to one product such as the conditioner. This conditioner states it works best when in combination with Aussie Get It Together Reconstructing Shampoo.

The conditioner is creamy and has a light scent to it.

Ingredients

I wasn’t able to find a full list of ingredients but I do know it includes a triple blend of oils. Avocado, Australian jojoba oil, and Macadamia oils

It’s also paraben, gluten, and dye free. It’s also listed as cruelty-free.

a note on consistency

The conditioner consistency isn’t thick. It’s a bit runny so you may have to adjust how much product you use as you go along. I find for me about a quarter size amount works. But I do add more if I feel I need to. The color is a typical white shade.

User experience

Overall my user experience has been great. The first time I tried it I noticed it took time to coat my hair and hydrate the dry ends. With each use, my hair seemed to adjust better to it.

It didn’t leave my crown oily or limp. I don’t have stringy hair either. It did what it states it will. Again user results may vary depending on your hair needs and damage.

For me, I noticed the improvement after a few uses. If I had to estimate It would have been around my 5th use.

My hair is smoother and hydrated I also didn’t feel my ends are so dry.

The conditioner didn’t weigh down my hair or leave it oily at all. It softened my hair as well.

I didn’t have any adverse reactions or scalp issues. I didn’t notice any breakage or hair loss either.

The conditioner clings to the hair and rinses well.

final thoughts

For me, the Aussie Deep Thoughts Reconstructing Conditioner has been a game changer. Even with the summer heat my hair looks better and feels softer.

I liked that the conditioner didn’t weigh down my hair or make it limp. It also didn’t leave my hair feeling greasy.

The tube is easy to open and hold. The conditioner is the right consistency it’s not too thin or too thick. It adheres to the hair without stripping the natural oils or leaving a film on your hair.

Best of all for me it didn’t leave my crown all oily or flat.

This has made a big improvement in my hair lately.

This retails for around $12 USD price may vary by retailer. I was able to find it via Amazon.
