Post updated 5/11/2023: Send Me A Sample posted something important today. It seems after June 13th Send Me A Sample will no longer be available via Google Assistant. I have also removed the mention of this product to keep the post up to date.

Did you know if you use Alexa or Google Assistant you can request free samples? That’s right you can. Send me a Sample works with Alexa and Google Assistant.
What to do first
You will need to create an account and allow Send Me a sample to connect to your voice assistant device.
Once you have your account set up you can ask Alexa or ask Hey, Google for a sample. You will get email notices when new samples are being offered.
Ask alexa
If you have an Amazon device you can ask :
Alexa, Send me a sample.
If this is the first time you are using the request you will be prompted to launch the Send Me a Sample skill
Again if this is the first time trying this request you will need to Okay the account creation via voice approval.
Once the skill is activated the Send Me a Sample page will open and you can make your request.
I found that depending on which Alexa-enabled device you are using it may take a few tries to have your request accepted.
I tried this request yesterday and found that if you say, Alexa, Send me a sample pause request sample name works best.
This works for Fire-enabled TV’s with Fire voice-activated remotes, Fire tablets, and other Alexa-enabled devices.
This works with IOs devices as well it seems.
I don’t know if you have both Alexa-enabled tech and Google Assistant products or if you can connect your account to both services. I haven’t tried it.
Do you think this is something you’d try?
