I was recently introduced to a new brand named Soapbox. I was able to select a free product thanks to Try It Sampling.

This body lotion is very hydrating and has a nice watermelon scent. It has ceramides as well.

The product

The Renewing Watermelon & Ceramides body lotion comes in a nice size bottle with a pump top. I found out that Soapbox donates a bar of soap for every Hope Code that is entered via their website. Each bottle or product has a code printed on it. That’s a great idea if you ask me.

This is a body lotion. The lotion is white and isn’t very heavy. I liked that it had a light watermelon scent.

User experience

Overall the product worked well the only issue I had was that the original pump top didn’t want to open. I guess it was damaged during shipping. So I just switched it out with one that I already had.

That being shared the lotion is very nice. It’s hydrating and nourishing to the skin. I liked that the watermelon scent is light and not too artificial smelling. The ceramides offer an extra boost to the skin. The lotion absorbs evenly and quickly into the skin. I didn’t have a greasy feeling on my hands or body. It does leave a layer on the skin but nothing too heavy. Even after washing my hands, I feel my hands are soft and not dry.

I used it on my body and thought it was hydrating and nourishing. I didn’t have dry itchy winter skin. The lotion didn’t cause me any adverse reactions.

According to the bottle it offers 24 hours of moisture. I don’t know if this will be true for all users but for me I noticed a few hours of hydration.

Reapplication may be required for some users.

I liked the lotion and didn’t have any real issues with it.

Final thoughts and where to buy

Final thoughts

As a whole, I loved this product. Soapbox Renewing Watermelon & Ceramides Body Lotion did a good job of hydrating my dry winter skin. I liked that it was a lightweight formula. It didn’t leave my hands greasy or oily. It added a protective layer to the skin but also nourished it.

The watermelon scent is light and not too heavy. It also fades quickly which I liked. I don’t have any cons about this product.
