I’m all for helping people by using a link to get something but I think the Temu craze has hit its limit with most folks.

I think we’ve all seen it before everyone jumps on the latest app and starts sending out referral links in hopes to gain new users. Some apps or sites give users extras such as points or bonus sign-up credits. Or maybe they may get something free.

What’s Temu?

Temu is a new app and website that is similar to Amazon. You can find a variety of products for low prices.

They have everything from clothing to electronics to beauty products.

I personally haven’t purchased anything from Temu so I can’t share about the product’s quality or shipping times.

However, I did see a Facebook comment. Where someone mention that they felt the items they purchased were a bit of a letdown. Again every shopper is different and I don’t know exactly what the person purchased.

Why was it a craze?

I think many people wanted to share their sign-up links to earn a credit or whatever the offer was at the time.

I know many people liked the low-priced items and thought they were a good deal.

For a while, I was seeing Temu sign-up links on a daily basis via Facebook or in my Dm’s. I’ve seen this before with other apps or even Facebook groups.

Many give the user an incentive if they have more people sign up.

I’m all for helping people but if you can only sign up once it’s hard to sign up 5 more times unless you create a new email address.

I’m not going to do that.

The incentives seem Inviting

I had two invites sent to me by the same user. One stated you and the user could earn up to X dollars via Paypal.

I also had another invite that stated you could get three freebies for signing up.

If this is something you think you can use by all means go ahead and sign up.

Is it worth it?

For me, I think I’ll pass. All I can say is please don’t get upset at someone who doesn’t want to sign up. I think we’ve all seen these apps or sign-up crazes come and go. So it may very from user to user.

What do you think? Is Temu worth it to you?
