Last week I had a box arrive from the Hero Cosmetics Skinsquad community. Well, I was selected to test a new product.
The product is Pore Purity pore cleansing clay mask.
The product
Hero Pore Purity Pore Cleansing clay mask is a new product. It’s sold in a tube and is easy to use.
This clay mask can be used up to 3 times a week. It can be applied to the full face or the T-zone. I applied it to my full face.
I would suggest you spot test to make sure you don’t have any adverse reactions if you have sensitive skin.
Unlike the traditional clay masks, this one can be rinsed off with water and dissolves well.
According to the directions you apply this mask after cleansing your face.

User experience
The tube is easy to use. It has a simple foil seal. the seal came off after I used some tweezers.
The clay mask wasn’t as thick as others I’ve used. This may have been do to the weather being warmer. It was easy to squeeze out of the tube. The flip top closes securely.
The mask is a mix between a light gray and a white shade. It spreads evenly on the fingers or across the face. You can apply it for 10 minutes. You can leave it on less time if you need to.
You can apply the mask with your fingers or with a skincare spatula. I used my fingers and found that it spread evenly across the skin. I liked that it didn’t feel sandy or gritty.
As the mask dries it does lighten in color. I didn’t feel any tightening of the skin or any other adverse reactions.
When it comes to rinsing it off you can use water. Depending on the thickness of the layer you may need to use a washcloth. But overall applying water to the skin and giving it a little rub in a circular motion helps break down the mask.
According to the box it bubbles off but I didn’t notice that maybe I had applied too much.

Hero Pore Purity Pore Cleansing Clay mask worked well for me. I liked that it didn’t dry out my skin excessively. I didn’t have any redness or skin irritation. I liked that it rinsed cleanly off the face. My skin was left smooth but not sandy or rough.
I will use this more as the weather warms up. Again you can use it on your full face or on the T-zone
