Did you know you can get free stuff on your Birthday? Well, you can.

There may be rules

There may be rules to getting something free on your birthday. You may need to be a member of a store or restaurant email list or rewards program.

Once you are on the list you will be eligible for select rewards on your Birthday.

Here are a few places you may luck out with something free. Always double-check to make sure the policy is still active.

Beauty

Many beauty (skincare, makeup) brands may offer some great birthday gifts.

Sephora

If you are a Beauty Insider member Sephora sends you a gift option of a sample/travel size gift or points. This is valid for the VIB or Rouge level.

You can redeem your gift in-store or online. Depending on the online gift you may need to purchase a product of a set dollar value.

You can claim your birthday gift for the entire month.

ulta

Ulta has a similar rewards program where you can get a free birthday gift.

Other beauty

Many popular beauty brands give you Birthday perks. Some may require a purchase of a set value before you get your free item. Others may send you a percentage off a purchase.

Tarte Cosmetics gives you a select percentage off your order if you are a Tarte Perks member.

Clothing stores

Many retailers now have rewards or loyalty programs. This also means you may get extra points back on your birthday.

Some even send out discounts for a purchase of a set dollar value.

Torrid gives you $10 off. Lane Bryant gives you $20 off. Many of the purchases have to be over the coupon value. But if you find a shirt for $12 on clearance it’s a pretty good value. These can be redeemed in-store and online.

Food & Restaurants

Many restaurants or coffee places have rewards programs. Even if you are signed up for their email list you may be sent a coupon.

The free item may vary by restaurant. I know some can range from a free coffee to salad or dessert. I know TGI Friday’s gives you a free dessert on your birthday.

You’ll have to check with the restaurant’s loyalty program or email list for more info.

It never hurts to sign up for email lists even if you create an email just for these possible birthday offers.

It may be something you’d like to try.

Another thing you can do is mentioned that it’s your birthday and see if the restaurant or coffee shop has a free item or discount offer.
