a few weeks back Derma-E gifted me a few products from their Frim & Lift collection. The box contained 3 products. I’ve used two of them so far.

Derma-E firm and lift collection. 3 products with info card and box. Ultra Lift Firming DMAE Moisturizer, Ultra Lift DMAE Concentrated Serum and Ferulic Acid Resurfacing Pads.

The box included the following:

Ultra Lift Firming DMAE Moisturizer, Ultra Lift DMAE Concentrated Serum and Ferulic Acid Resurfacing Pads.

I’ll share my experience with the two that I finished and ad info about the third as well.

Ultra Lift Firming DMAE Moisturizer

I had used this product in the past. It’s a thicker cream but absorbs well into the skin. It includes Copper peptides & Resveratrol, and Kakadu plum.

The moisturizer can be used twice daily (morning and evening.) You may see the best results when used in combination with the Ultra Lift DMAE Concentrated Serum.

It’s stated on the box that the product may help elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles. It may also brigthen the skin.

  • Ultra Lift Firming DMAE Moisturizer jar with box.
  • Ultra Lift Firming DMAE Moisturizer. Jar lid removed moisturizer is a cream shade.

my user expereince

Overall the product worked well. It absorbs well. But I did have some redness and a slight warming sensation on my face. I think my skin needed to adjust to the product. After a few days, I didn’t have as much redness after application or any warming of my face.

The moisturizer worked well with my existing skincare products. I didn’t have any breakouts. The only issues I had were the ones shared above.

The moisturizer is thick and does offer a hydration quality. It absorbed well into the skin and didn’t seem to leave a film on my face. The moisturizer has a light scent that dissipates quickly.

I did notice an improvement in some of my larger wrinkles on my forehead and my finer lines.

If you have sensitive skin I would suggest you try a spot test before applying the product to your face. Besides that, I liked the product.

It currently retails for around $23 USD. Price may vary by retailer.

Ultra Lift DMAE Concentrated Serum

The Ultra Lift DMAE concentrated serum is a bit different. It’s a blue shade. I’ve never seen a serum that color before. Also like the moisturizer it has copper peptides, resveratrol, and Kakadu plum.

  • Ultra Lift DMAE Concentrated Serum bottle with box.
  • Ultra Lift DMAE Concentrated Serum bottle next to my hand. Serum is blue on my hand.

The serum can be applied twice daily (morning and evening). It’s a bit of a different formula. It’s sort of gel-like in it’s consistency. So it clings to the skin well.

my user experience

Like with the Ultra Lift DMAE Moisturizer the serum did cause me a bit of redness. I also found that it caused a warming senation as well. I also felt it was a bit tacky once applied to the face.

The serum didn’t have much of a scent. Overall it did improve my skin in terms of fine lines and wrinkles. But user results may vary.

I didn’t get to use the full bottle because I spilled some of it. But the portion that I did use seemed to be helpful to my skin.

I didn’t have any chemical reactions with my existing skincare. Once my face adjusted to using the serum the redness and warming sensation seemed to fade. I never got over the tacky feeling after application however.

The serum retails for $20 USD. price will vary by retailer.
