I recently came across a free sample offer for AVEDA hair care. I think it was via Instagram. Either way you know me I can’t pass up a free sample so I requested it. I’d never tried a product by this brand so I was interested in see how well it worked.

The samples arrived the other day. They are very much a one time or possibly two time use sample tubes. This may vary because if you have longer hair you may use both products in one use.

the products

I was sent AVEDA Nutriplenish light moisture shampoo and conditioner. Both tubes are .34 fl oz. They are a great sample size because as I mentioned you can use them in one use.

They are stated to help add light moisture to your hair.

Nutriplenish shampoo

The shampoo is a standard white shade. It has a lovely scent. it’s a bit floral with a hint of tropical. The shampoo isn’t too thick or too runny. I found that it applied to my hair well. In terms of lather, it was light yet I may not have applied enough shampoo.

Nutriplenish Conditioner

The conditoner is a bit thicker and also a standard white shade. I liked that it’s creamy and melts into the hair well. It coasts the hair and rinses clean.

user experince

Overall I liked the AVEDA Nutriplenish shampoo and conditioner. They did offer light hydration to my hair. I felt it helped my split ends. again it’s hard to gauge a product after one use. But I felt my hair did seem a bit more moisturized. I also liked the scent of the products too.

My hair did feel a bit softer and I didn’t have any oiliness. I will finish up the samples just to see if I have a better result.

AVEDA lists the Shampoo from $12 USD to $125 USD the sizes range from a 12 oz bottle to a 33 oz bottle.

The conditoner is also listed from $12 USD to $137 USD the bottle sizes are around the same fl oz sizes.

I also found a few sets via Amazon and I’ll list those below. AVEDA also has a deep moisture product in this line as well.
