A few weeks ago I shared about a fake fashion nova collaboration email making the rounds. Well, the email is back again. I’ve had 3 this week so far. The recent emails were sent from a Gmail account. fashionnovacollaboration551@gmail.com

The text from the recent scam is below:

We @fashionnova are launching our newest clothing brand @fashionnova. We noticed you have been a fan of our work,  So we are just launching our influencer campaign and really want you involved, you would get free monthly packages (10 items of your choice per month), your own exclusive discount code to share, shoutouts and reposts to our Instagram and website! We will be sending you our free PR packages every month, this means you will get to show off our newest items completely free with no catch! in return just tag us with the clothing either wearing them or just showing off the package! You will also be getting 30% commission paid via bank transfer every time you post a shout-out of our newest brand, we will begin with a payment of $1000 and increase as you get more popular and we make more sales off you wearing them on your page. We await a response from you as soon as possible! Best Regards Financial Management @FashionNova

I recently had someone reach out to me via Facebook regarding this scam. She was based outside of the United States. She replied back to the email thinking the collaboration was real and the scammers replied back. Always contact the brands directly to ask about the emails. Remember that if the email isn’t from a brand name.(dot)com it’s probably fake.

The text reads as follows:

Dear esteemed, you’ve totally got us wrong we had issues with people who received our PR package worth $5000 and also the first sign up bonus of $1500 and then decide not to put in any work for us. This became a frequent occurrence and it took huge resources just finding one person. Our board of directors sat down and came up with this idea and set it as a policy. Every prospect partner and ambassador will have to pay the delivery fee of $50 this will convince the company that you are serious and committed to been part of our team. All you pay are covered by the financial packages the company is paying you. Please reply accordingly Thank you.
