I was selected to try another Tom’s of Maine deodorant again. This was similar to the previous product I shared. it’s aluminum-free. It’s also free of parabens, artificial fragrances, and baking soda.

I’m always up to trying a free product because at least I’ll learn more about these products. I’ll also be able to find a new deodorant.

The product

Tom’s of Maine Coconut Mango aluminum-free deodorant is pretty straightforward. It comes in a recyclable tube.

Putting the product to the test

I’ve been testing this deorant for the last week or so. It’s and opaque stick and it smells of coconut as soon as you remove the plastic protector. Once the product warms to the skin it’s more gel like. It melts into the skin.

the stick is an opaque shade and is gel like.

The first two uses I didn’t sweat much so it was okay. I liked that it didn’t leave me smelling like a hot tropical fruit saldi at the end of the day. I didn’t have any odd body odor either.

I do note hints of coconut at the end of the day.

I did notice that when I did sweat it took a bit for the moisture to be wicked away from my skin. This may because I need to adjust to the new deodorant. Or it could be since the coconut melts into the skin it takes a bit for the moisture to be absored. Overall It seems to work but there may be some noticeable wetness.

I didn’t have too much odor thankfully. As I mentioned before I smelled like coconut oil. I did have hints of mango but it’s more coconut.

I liked that the product didn’t stain my underarms or my shirts. I didn’t have any real lingering scent of Coconut on my shrits either. Even after washing them. I found that the product didn’tleave any marks either.

Final thoughts and Where to buy

Final thoughts

Ovrall the Tom’s of Maine Coconut Mango aluminum free deodorant works well. As with any new deoorant it make take time for your body to adjust. I liked that it was free of baking soda, parabens, article frangerances and dyes. The scent worked well with my body chemistry. I didn’t end up smelling like hot tropical fruit salad at the end of the day. Nor did I end up smelling awful either. I just noticed hints of warm coconut.

I wish the mango scent would have been more noticeable. I felt that the coconut scent overwhelmed the mango scent. It wasn’t in a bad way. It wasn’t overwhelming either. It just seemed to be buried in the coconut.

I liked that product didn’t stain my clothing or leave any marks. My underarm skin wasn’t dry or irritated at the end of the day.

I’ll keep using this product to see if I have better results with it.
