I was recently able to try two samples of Clorox disinfecting products thanks to Pinchme. I was sent a sample bottle of disinfecting mist and a 9-count disinfecting wipe packet.
I had tried a few Clorox products in the past but they usually contained bleach so I was a bit wary to try them on certain surfaces.
The products I was sent are bleach free which is a plus.
Clorox disinfecting mist
This was a new product to me. I was sent a sample bottle. It’s a nice size and has a trigger handle. The bottle is easy to hold and isn’t too top-heavy. It has a locking button on the top. The trigger is easy to squeeze. It releases a fine light cloud of mist.
You can spray a surface and let the mist sit on the surface for 10 minutes on non-porous surfaces.

User experience
Overall the disinfecting mist is easy to use. you will need to prime the pump before your first use. According to the directions you need to hold the bottle 6 to 8 inches away from the surface. Then spray the mist. If you are disinfecting a hard surface (non-porous) you can let it sit for up to 10 mins. You can also use it on soft surfaces but will need to spot test to make sure you don’t have any fabric fading or discoloration.
I tried this on the sides of my bathtub, a door handle, and other areas in the bathroom.
The lemongrass mandarin scent is light and inviting. it’s not harsh or chemical. It also fades quickly.
The disinfecting mist worked well I didn’t notice any streaks, fading, or staining on the surfaces I cleaned.
It left my door handle clean and not sticky.
final thoughts and pricing
Clorox disinfecting mist fit my needs. I found that it worked well on the surfaces I tested it on.
The trigger spray was easy to use the mist was even and the nozzle didn’t clog or drip.
The best part about this disinfecting spray is that you can purchase refills so all you need to do is recycle the empty bottle and add the top to a new one.
I’ll probably be purchasing this again in the future.
pricing and where to buy
As far as pricing goes. It was around $7 USD. The sample bottle I was sent is around $4 USD. Price may vary by retailer.

9-count disinfecting wipes
I had a few Clorox wipes in the past but the last one I tried had bleach in it. These don’t. They can be used on a variety of surfaces. The package states they are safe to use on finished wood, sealed granite, glass, and stainless steel. As with any cleaning wipe always spot test to make sure it doesn’t ruin the surface you’d like to clean.
the packet is a simple plastic peel open style one. The flap seal is easy to open and close again.
But due to it’s style the wipes may dry out quickly.
They are a nice size wipe and offer texture on one side.
The wipes are damp but not soaking wet.

user experience
The scent of the disinfecting wipes is Fresh scent. it’s a blend of citrus and pine in my opinion. The scent fades quickly.
I used it to clean my sink and my toothbrush holder. It worked well on porcelain surfaces and plastic. It didn’t leave any streaks or stickiness.
The textured side of the wipe makes cleaning easy. I would imagine if you are trying to clean up a sticky mess it would help greatly. Even to clean a desk, keyboard, phone, or another surface it’s easy to use.
I will note that the wipe did dry out my hands when I used it without gloves. So you will need to take that into consideration when using them.
Final thoughts and pricing
Overall the wipes fit my needs. I liked that they weren’t soaking wet or dripping. They cleaned well and didn’t leave the surface stained, streaked, or sticky. I also didn’t notice any type of fading or discoloration of the surfaces.
The 9-count packet I was sent is around $1 USD but the packs are sold in a variety of sizes.
