I’ve been having this spam/scam survey request pop up for the last few weeks in my email inbox. It seems to be enticing because it asks about your Pfizer treatment.
The email is not from Pfizer nor is it from Moderna. There were a few of these emails but they are the same basic premise.
The email
The email is sent from a very random email address q9shbu7cuyz@anlaia.blue2stoner.com.
so right off the bat, I knew it was spam. If it’s not from a medical company or a pharmacy you should be a bit suspicious.
The email also had bold text that read :
YOUR EMAIL HAS BEEN SELECTED
FOLLOWED BY THE FOLLOWING IMAGE:
The image is pretty basic and offers a few enticing options such as a reward of $90 or more.
When I hovered my mouse over the start survey now button it displayed a long URL.
what you can do
You can do is mark the email as spam. You can also report it as phishing to your email provider. Another thing you can do is share this info with a loved one. Since this may be a scam from the looks of the email address.
