It’s been a busy year here at Life with Pal. We had some ups and a few downs but here are the highlights of the year.

Our top posts

It seems that scam posts are still trending topics for our site.

The posts about Fashion Nova scams are still a bit draw.

So are the posts regarding Wells Fargo, Travel mailers and Google business calls.

Remembering those we lost

We lost a few cat friends this year. In May we lost 3.

We lost Olive to a respiratory virus so I chose to put her to sleep because it would be a long-term issue. We also put Sam to sleep the same day because he was having dental issues but his blood test was resulting in some concerns. So again I thought putting him to sleep would be best.

That day we lost Linus as well. He went out to play and never came home. He’s still missing. I haven’t heard anything from my lost posts via several pet finder groups and Home Again the microchip company.

Linus. Linus is a black and white kitten.

His brothers Bear and Smokey have come to terms with him being gone now. They have each other and the other cats.

In June we also lost one of your local community cats named Slash. She was brother to Stripes, Mr. White and their sister boots.

New friend

In late September we had a very cute little kitten start to visit us. It turned out she was a girl. I posted her on a few community apps to see if she was lost. It turns out she wasn’t.

Bear and Smokey along with the rest of the cats now have an adopted sister we named her Ellie. She appears to be a Seal Point Siamese.

We had her TNR’d (Trap Neuter/ Spay released) thanks to my local shelter on December 16th. I think she’s around 5 months old. She’s doing well and is adapting well to living here. As you can see she’s very comfortable. She loves Bear, Smokey and Teddy.

We weren’t expecting to own any more cats but as we know the cat distribution system has a mind of its own.

New Communities we’ve joined

I joined a few new communities this year.

The Viemaa tribe recently sent me a product and I tried it out. I liked it.

We joined a few new social media platforms

We joined a few new social media platforms.

I finally decided to close my Twitter accounts and moved over to Bluesky.
