@Regranned from @abc7la – #BREAKINGNEWS A brush fire erupted in Santa Clarita on Tuesday, as firefighters were already battling two large brush fires Sylmar and Ventura. The second-alarm fire broke out around 9:30am near the 25000 block of Rye Canyon Loop. The blaze had charred approximately 25 acres as of 10:15am, fire officials said. The fire was burning north of Newhall Ranch Road and east of the 5 Freeway. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene. Authorities said no structures were threatened, and no evacuations were ordered.
