Regrann from @topclassactions – Have you #purchased an #airline #ticket in the past 12 years? If so, you may benefit from a #classaction #settlement. ⠀
___⠀
An antitrust settlement has been reached that will require #Travelport to change its #business practices in ways that may lead to lower airfares.⠀
___⠀
A #lawsuit claimed defendants Travelport, Amadeus and Sabre, who operate as “#global #distribution #systems,” conspired unlawfully to impose certain #contract provisions on several #airlines, and that those provisions resulted in higher airfares for #customers.⠀
___⠀
The settlement Class covers all U.S. residents who purchased airline passenger tickets from one of the airlines covered in the settlement between June 1, 2006 and Jan. 12, 2018.⠀
___⠀
Covered airlines include #AmericanAirlines, #ContinentalAirlines, #Delta Airlines, #Northwest Airlines, #UnitedAirlines, #USAirways, #AirTran, #JetBlue, and #AlaskaAirlines, according to the settlement agreement.⠀
___⠀
The current settlement covers only injunctive relief and does not offer #cash payments or other monetary value for Class Members. ⠀
___⠀
Class Members may #object to the settlement by filing a written objection no later than March 14, 2018.⠀
