I thought I’d give you an update on the Garnier Fructise Pure Moisture 10-in-1 treatment spray. The bottle stated that it could be used as a heat protector.
Well, I tried it recently and it did a very good job of protecting my hair.
A few weeks back I shared about how I was selected to test a line of Garnier products thanks to Bzzagent.
Well, the trio of products included a 10-in-1 treatment mist. The hair mist can be applied to damp or dry hair.
When applied to damp hair it stated it could be used as a heat protector.
how i used it
I applied the 10-in-1 treatment mist to my damp hair. I was going to use the blow dryer to style my hair. So i misted my damp hair. I worked the mist into my hair with my fingers. I used the blow dryer with the diffuser attached. I didn’t want my hair to be excessively dry. So i did my best to dry it so it wasn’t dripping wet.
I removed the diffuser and lightly dried my hair a bit more to a damp state. I left it to air dry after that.
By the time I left the house, my hair was nearly dry.
I was pleasantly surprised by the results of my hair by the end of the night.
What my hair looked like the next morning
After I came home from dinner with a friend I went about my nightly routine and went to bed. When I woke up the next morning my hair still looked great. It wasn’t dry or brittle.
Please excuse the overexposed effect of image one. I don’t know why but my Sony point-and-shoot camera does this at times.
My hair was soft manageable and shiny. I will say I think I over misted my hair because it did feel a tad oily.
But overall I can say the heat protector claim on the bottle held up. If this is what my hair looked like when I partially blow-dried it I can only guess how well the 10-in-1 treatment mist would work when i’d fully dried my hair.
