I thought I’d give you all an update on the Monster 3D Digit light kit I shared recently. The kit works well with the app. I’ll be honest for me the app is a bit of a novelty. I only downloaded it to see what it did.

You can set various ligting settings such as colors, styles and speeds. You can also do this using the keypad. Granted with the keypad it just gives you a basic light settings but you can turn the lights up and down.

you can see the full video below. I’ll add the time stamps underneath the video so you can jump around if you don’t want to spent 10 minutes watching it.

Again you can connect the lights to voice activated devices such as Alexa, Siri and Google. You will need to use the App and follow the directions that come with the lighting kit.

This kit only connects to 2.4 GHZ WiFi connection. The lights have a magnetic backing (for creating 3D letters or effects) or a adhesive strip. The box includes at least one to two extra adhesive strips.

This particular kit’s power hub can connect up to 10 lights together.

I hung the lights on the wall recently. I like them because they add some fun accent lighting. The only con I found was that the power cord may be a bit short.

The 3 light kit is sold at Walmart for around $50 USD.
