I had a long-running scam email today. This one claims to be from the United Nation Treasury Department. It claimed I won a lottery draw in the amount of $5.5 million dollars (US) from Arizona Bank And Trust
Let’s start off by saying that Arizona Bank And Trust is a real financial institution. They are based in the state of Arizona. Second of all the rest is a scam. The US Treasury Department does not have a lottery system. Also, the United Nations is part of the Treasury department but they do not give you money either. I found out that this scam has been around since 2007.
