Let’s face it we all have one person who is either hard to shop for or has everything they need. So I thought I’d put together a gift post featuring Streaming services.
Everyone has different ideas on how they like to watch, listen or read media content. So I’ll be breaking it down by content.
Streaming services (TV)
There are a number of streaming services available but I’ll share a few that may interest some of you. All of these services offer a 7-day free trial prior to having to sign up.
Amazon Prime Video
If you aren’t a member of Amazon prime you can join Amazon Prime video for a set fee. This has a 7-day free trial. They offer a lot of great shows and movies. You can also add on channels for an additional fee.
Prime Video Free trialParamount plus
I like Paramount plus I’ve been a member for nearly a year. It offers a few great original shows as well as many movies and TV shows. You also have access to MTV, Comedy Central, BET, Nickelodeon, and The Smithsonian Channel.
You can also bundle with Showtime for an additional fee.
Get Paramount+ with SHOWTIME® starting at $5/mo. for 12 months. Special pricing ends January 2. Try it FREE!
Peacock
Peacock offers a lot of great shows from NBC and original programming. They have a variety of movies and documentaries as well. They also offer Bravo programs and WWE and sports.
If you’ve been wanting to watch Yellowstone they have it as well (Previous seasons of course).
They offer free streaming on select programs. There are also ad-supported and ad-free tiers as well.
Audio streaming
Audible
Audible offers a variety of books and textbooks.
Audible Gift MembershipsDigital books
Kindle
Kindle has a variety of books in digital format. This might be a great gift for someone who is an avid reader.
Kindle Unlimited Membership PlansMusic services
There are a variety of music services that you can choose from. But here are a few suggestions.
amazon music & Music unlimited
Amazon Music and Amazon Music Unlimited have a variety of artists to choose from. They also have podcasts. You can stream it from any device. Such as a Fire TV, Firestick, Echo, Echo Show, or any device that has the app. If you are currently a Prime member you have Amazon music included. If you want Amazon Unlimited music you will be charged a small additional monthly fee.
I believe the music services also have family and student plans.
Spotify
I’ve been using Spotify free for years but they offer a few premium plans that some of you might be interested in.
I like that you can listen to entire albums, not just the most popular songs. With the free service, you do have ad breaks. But the premium plans offer ad-free service with offline listening.

additional streaming devices or services
Online services
Amazon prime
Amazon Prime offers a lot of great features. You can get TV, music, and other shopping services all in one place. There is a 30-day free trial.
Give the Gift of Amazon PrimeStreaming devices
There are a lot of extra streaming devices that help you stay connected to the media you love. Here are a few.
Firestick
Amazon firestick is a pretty good gift. You can watch a variety of content and if you are a Prime member you can also access Prime Video. It also comes loaded with some free TV services as well.
Fire TV
This Toshiba Fire TV is similar to the one I have except larger.
Roku
Roku is similar to a fire stick. They also have a variety of apps and channels you can access. Some may require an additional fee or download of an app.
Echo show
An Echo show is basically an echo speaker with a screen. You can watch videos, stream music, or other content from it. You can also make video calls or video chat as well.
I have the echo show 8 and so far it’s been useful.
I hope this post was helpful.
