The STEAGLE Premium Laptop Webcam Cover is easy to install. The instructions for the installation are very straightforward and easy to read. You will need to check your laptop’s camera before installing to make sure you don’t block your mic or other sensors. I liked that the cover slides for when you’d like to use your webcam. you will need to clean the webcam area before applying the cover. I wiped it down with some alcohol. The cover has an adhesive backing. Once you line up your webcam with the cover all you need to do is remove the plastic film and press it firmly over the webcam.
To assure proper installation I turned on my webcam to see where the proper fit would be. Once the cover adheres you can slide it to the side to test your webcam. Installation is done within minutes. No need to deal with any sticky glues. I was very happy with the product. According to the manufacturer, this may be a one-time use product.
But if you are looking for a privacy cover for you laptops webcam this is a great idea.
