Well it’s a Wednesday (3/13) and I had a lot of things i wanted to post via social media today. But it seems that Instagram and Facebook both have gone down. I will admit I didn’t notice the issue until nearly 10 a.m. I figured it was a glitch that would be cleared up soon.

That being shared I will admit I did have a sense of panic. Of course this may be an attempt at a dramatic flare but still, I felt it. I was more annoyed by the fact that the posts weren’t being shared. Then to top it all off I logged out of Instagram and I couldn’t log back in. Talk about a sense of not knowing what to do.

Yes I think we all love social media to a point. Be it to connect with others or to share important topics. Or even if we just use it too keep in touch with friends and family. When it goes down we all have a fit in one form or another.

Last year I was sharing with a friend about a social media issue and she joked “Yes Henny Penny the sky is falling.” I thought that was funny but it’s true you don’t realize how much you use social media until there’s an issue.

Yes this may be me being too reliant on social media but I do realize i need to disconnect as well. This is also teaching me to focus on other things offline too. I know i can alway get back to things once the issue is fixed.
