Being that its summer I figured I’d post a quick sunscreen list. I’ve used a number of sunscreens lately. They all fit my needs but here’s a list of the ones I like along with some reasons why.  I prefer the cream/ lotion type of sunscreen. I also like to buy higher SPF when it’s available. Like with any sun care products read the instructions fully to gain the full protection benefit.

All of these sunscreens can be found at a variety of locations or online.

Banana Boat

This is one of the brands I’ve used for many years. It’s available in many different forms such as a stick, cream/lotion or even a spray. I like this brand because it’s sold in a variety of sizes as well.This brand can be a bit on the thicker side but once it works in it seems to give good protection.

Kiss My Face

I liked this product because it came in a very easy to use spray bottle. It also offered a trigger lock as well. So if you are taking it when you travel you can prevent accidental spills. The spray can be a bit tricky to use at first but once you get the hang of it there’s not a problem. I can be a bit watery but it still does the job well.

Neutrogena

I like this brand because it offers sheer coverage so it doesn’t seem so heavy on the skin. Granted like with most sunscreens they offer a variety of sizes and sunscreen options.  The sheer sunscreen absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave your skin sticky.

I’ve used a few store brand sunscreens that have worked as well as the name brand ones.

Other suggestions

COOLA

This is a new brand to me. I recently tried a free product sample. it is lightweight and very moisturizing I liked that it has White Tea in it. It didn’t leave me feeling sticky or tacky. It was quick absorbing as well. A video post will be up next week sharing more.

Lapothicell

I also tried a K Beauty (Korean Beauty ) brand recently. This sunscreen was very lightweight and once again absorbed quickly. It also had a lovely scent. It rubs into your skin without leaving any white streaks or white shadow. You can see my video post about it here

I will admit these last two are a bit on the expensive side but it may be something someone might be interested in.
