This is a nice basic wireless door bell kit. I love how many of the door bell kits these days offer a plug in chime box. This is great because you no longer have to worry about batteries. the only battery you have to worry about is the one in the door bell button.
As you can see from the picture the kit includes everything you need. It includes the following:
- The door bell chime box
- Â bell button two screws to install bell button
- Â 3M adhesive pad
- Â flat screw driver
- Â instructions
The kit is very straight forward. the bell button lights up as does the chime box when the bell rings.
The bell button has a battery per-installed in it. you use the flat screw driver to open the back plate.
you have to remove two screws and a sensor plate to find the battery.Â
it takes a few minutes but that’ the only battery you will have to deal with.
the chime box plugs into any standard outlet and has adjustable sound settings and chimes.
The volume and chime settings are on the side of the box and can be set to any setting you like. The volume goes from low to high and the chimes range from a standard bell sound to Happy Birthday to you to A holiday song to a barking and even to a person saying hello.
All in all this a great door bell kit for anyone who lives in a condo or in an apartment of even if you live in an older home like I do. this would also be great for anyone who has a business.
