A few weeks ago i had an email from Sample Source sharing that i would be sent some free samples. As we know I love free samples so I couldn’t wait to see what they were. I saw in the email that they would be a Snuggle laundry product or in this case products.
I don’t usually use fabric softeners or scent boosters but I knew i’d still be willing to test them.
The products
I was sent two Snuggle® SuperCare™ products. One was a fabric softener the other was a scent booster.
Both products were in the scent Lillie and Linen. Both products were also in standard sample pack sizes. They could be used for one load of laundry.
Snuggle® SuperCare™ Liquid Fabric Softener
The fabric softener packet was easy to open and the softener was a standard milky white shade. The package states it will protect against fading, wear and tear, and help clothing retain it’s shape.
User EXPERIENCE
I used the fabric softener for one load of laundry. I added it to my washers fabric softener dispenser. The softener had a light scent but nothing too overwhelming. I liked that it did soften my clothing. I didn’t feel that it left a film or any type of residue on my laundry. It worked well with my laundry detergent as well.
The scent is a bit floral with a hint of fresh. I liked that it seemed to be evenly dispersed through my load of laundry. I didn’t feel like one shirt smelled fresher then the next. Since i did laundry on a warm day i left a few shirts to air dry. Even with that I noticed alight floral and fresh scent.
I didn’t feel that the scent lasted very long. This wasn’t an issue for me. I just know some people may have a sensitivity to scents. I thought the scent lasted for around a day after washing if that. This result may vary depending on how much softener you use.
Final thoughts
Overall I liked the Snuggle® SuperCare™ fabric softener. As i mentioned I don’t usually use laundry additives aside form detergent. But this would be nice to use for bedding or even clothing. I didn’t have any adverse reactions to it and it did leave my towels soft.
It can be found at many retailers.
I found it to be priced for around $4.99 USD for a small bottle. It is also sold in a few other scents as well.

Snuggle® SuperCare™ Scent Boosters
I’ve used scent boosters in the past. For me again they aren’t something i always use. I like them but don’t really see the need for it. That’s just my opinion.
As with the fabric softener the package the scent booster package states the beads can help protect against fading, color bleeding and give your clothing long lasting freshness.
Overall the packet had a decent amount of beads.
You place them in the washing machine before you add your laundry. The scent boost beads are white. You notice the scent as you open the package. This was again Lilies and linen.
User Expereince
I used the scent booster in a separate load of laundry. I liked that the beads are easy to use. You I added the entire packet. They seemed to dissolved during the laundry process. I didn’t feel that my laundry had any type of film on it. Nor did it have any type of residue. I noticed the scent on my shirts right as i was taking them out of the washing machine. Again it wasn’t too strong but noticeable. The floral and fresh scent was inviting and not too harsh. I noticed that my shirts that air dried had a light scent. I think it lasted about a day or so. Again this may vary.
Final thoughts
I liked Snuggle® SuperCare™ Lilies and Linen Scent Boosters overall. The scent they had were light and airy. It’s easy to use and can be added to your usual laundry routine. I would think this would work well for towels or bedding. I liked that the scent was even and not too sweet.
The bottle retails at Target for $7.99 USD.
Amazon has a multi pack set for around $20. They also have the single Sea Breeze scent for $7.99 USD.

I would think if you use them together you may have an added scent boost. But that will be something you will have to try out.
