I figured I’d break down the set into sections. This way it would cut down on one long post.
So let’s begin.
The Set
This palette offers six shades.
As you can see the shades range from dark to red to brown. There’s even a shimmer option.
The Shades
Here’s an overview of the shades as I applied them. I will admit I applied them with a q-tip or my finger so forgive the rushed or smeared lipstick
Bank Rolled is very reminiscent of the 90′s goth trend.
Here’s another picture where I have more applied
I will admit Double Take is more of an accent lipstick. I could see using it over a general color to add some shimmer. As you can see on me it’s sort of like a bubblegum pink.
The next shade is Similiar to this one. I think it would make a great addition to a general lip color.
Fiery is sort of an orangish color. it’s also has a bit of shimmer in it. So I guess you could use this as a lipgloss.
Now Audition is a natural color. on me, it’s similar to a mauve or close to my natural lip color.
Now Red Rage is just that. It’s bright eye-catching and on me may turn bright red.
Witchy s the last color in the palette. Again to me, this is a bit of a throwback to the 90′s goth trend. It’s a deep plum. Depending on your chemistry it may even look like a chocolate.
My Thoughts
I will have to mix and match some of these lips shades with existing colors I already own. I can say this much that all the lipsticks are very creamy. They glide on well and are highly pigmented.
The lipsticks also wipe off well. So far I am very happy with my purchase.
I will share more about the other palettes in another two blog posts. So keep an eye out for those.
