I was recently sent a free sample packet of gummy vitamins on behalf of Social Native and Smarty Pants. I had never heard of Smarty Pants but was happy to be sent a sample to try. I had tried gummy vitamins in the past and wasn’t very impressed by them. Frankly, they were too chewy or had an awful aftertaste. Some even ended stuck in my teeth.
Well, when the vitamin sample arrived I was rather excited to try them. I thought the sample pack was cute.It also offered a fair amount of information. I was sent the Women’s Complete packet. It has 6 gummy vitamins in 3 different flavors. The flavors are the following: Lemon Creme, Blueberry, and Orange. I think I liked blueberry best.
Some of the Ingredients include the following (shown on the front of the packet)
- Omega 3 Fish oil from small fish
- Vitamin D as D3
- Folate as Methylcobalamin
- CoQ10
- Vitamin K2 (MK7)
- Biotin
- Iodine
Smarty Pants vitamins are also free of GMO’s, synthetic colors and artificial flavors. They are also free of preservatives, yeast, wheat, milk, eggs, soy, gluten, peanuts, tree nut allergens, fish allergens, shellfish, and salicylates. (Again off the back of the packet.)
The directions state that you should take 6 gummies a day. Since I was going to try the sample packet I only tried one. I wasn’t sure how I would like them or if i’d have any reaction to them. I usually don’t but once again it’s better to be safe then sorry right?
I can say that they are flavorful and don’t stick to your teeth. The gummies are a gumdrop shape. They dissolve quickly and do taste like lemon, orange or blueberry. When I chewed them they broke down well. I didn’t have any adverse reactions so I had another one. I did this for the next few days. I just finished the last vitamin and it was still fresh. I hadn’t taped the packet closed but it wasn’t hard or stale. It was still flavorful and had its orange taste. Since I only had the sample packet I can’t a test to any major changes such as added energy or the like.
All in all, I think this may be worthwhile for someone who isn’t fond of traditional vitamin tables. I would say that these are worth looking into. These have changed how I view gummy vitamins that’s for sure. Smarty Pants Gummy Vitamins weren’t what I was expecting at all. I didn’t have any issues like I did with other gummy vitamins I tried in the past.
To thanks again to Social Nature and Smarty Pants for the free sample.
