Anyone who has a pet knows how hard it can be to keep their area clean. Despicably near their food and water dish. I have 4 cats and thought this would be helpful way of managing the mess. When I came across this posting via Tomoson I figured I’d give it a try and apply. I was happy when I saw that I was approved.
Well the mat arrived today. It is made of a food grade silicon that is water proof. It is very flexible. It arrived rolled up in a sealed plastic bag. I loved the cute paw the company places in the lower right hand corner. The mat has raised edges to keep spills from running everywhere. I found it easy to clean since i spilled a little water on it while I was moving my cats water dish. The water pools but doesn’t flow very far from where it lands.
Tip-Top Petware offers the mat in a variety of colors. Black, Grey, Red, and Pink. As you can see the Red mat is bright and cheery. the size of the mat is 19 inches by 12 inches. According to the manufacture it is even dishwasher safe.
Well I put it to the test this morning after it arrived .
As you can see my cat Rocket was a bit hesitant to use it. She sort of looked at her food and wasn’t very interested in it. I don’t think she minded the mat much at all to be honest.
Well with a little coaxing which is mainly bribing her with a few treats she ate with out any problem. I think we will get a lot of use out of this mat.
