I would like tht thank the manufacture for allowing me to review this product. the opinion I express is my own. I was sent the sewing kit at a discount for my review.

The Crafter’s Friend sewing kit arrived the other day in the mail. When I arrived I was very surprised to see it was better than what I had expected. I had seem many sewing kits over the years that offer quality items only to be rather disappointed in one way or another by either the poor thread quality or the lack of essential tools

This sewing kit however didn’t disappoint at all it offers everything you may need. Granted this doesn’t replace a standard at home sewing kit but in a fix this one will do wonders.

I was surprised to see the quality of the thread. I just used a piece today to sew a few stitches in a scrap of material and it doesn’t pull or bunch at all. It was easy to thread through the needles provided with the kit and the scissors work great.

The kit itself offers anything you may need in a pinch to replace a button,or to mend a hole. The range of colored thread that is offered is great. It offers 2 white,2 black, 1 pink, 1 yellow, 1 red, 1 navy,1 green, 1 purple, 1 grey,1 light blue and 1 brown spool of thread(s)  It also comes with a measuring tape that is 60 inches long. It also has centimeters on the back. A thimble, a seam ripper, 2 pins, a safety pin, a pair of scissors, 2 threaders and a few small buttons. The best part of the kit is is carrying case everything fits nicely and is help in place by elastic straps. The case has a zipper closure so there is no risk of any lost items when you travel.

Now the set of needles it comes with is very nice they are varying sizes and come in an enclosed case  The case offers a rotating design that has a hole which you position at the opening of the needle set you’d like to use. All you do is tilt the holder and out comes the needle. When you are done you just slip it back into the slot via the hole. the needles themselves seem to be very durable and easy to thread.

This is a great little kit to have handy. It would made a great gift for anyone who travels or for someone who just needs a small sewing kit for basic sewing needs. Please visit the link below for more info.
