My parents purchased this cultivator last month and we love it. I was able to help my mom make quick work of tilling/cultivating her garden. I love how it’s easy to use and not very heavy. Living in Southern California our area is prone to clay soil and this cuts through the clay with ease and with a little kick back. I am able to cultivate dry spots in the grass in minutes. It also cuts through crabgrass with minimal damage to surrounding live grass. It works great around plants with causing little damage to them. This cultivator works great in raised beds. Thanks to the extending rod you can reach into raised beds with ease and don’t have to climb into them unless they are very wide. It cultivates up to 8 inches deep and is makes quick work of weed removal. Thanks to its not too sharp tines it doesn’t shred the soil it seems to break it up. So that’s helpful to the earthworms in my opinion. The battery that it comes with last about an hour depending on how much work you need to be done the time may vary.
