I was recently sent a new sample product on behalf of Viewpoints and Maison Margiela . I was very excited to try the scent because the name caught my attention. I also enjoy citrus scents.

I’ve tried Mutiny by Maison Margiela a few weeks back and I liked it. I found that Mutiny was long lasting. When it faded you still noticed subtle hints of it.

Product overview

The sample tester I was sent was a nice size and it has enough product to use possibly a few times. This will depend on how much perfume you apply at one time.

I also liked how the sample package had an image of what the full sized bottle looks like.

First Impressions

When I applied the scent at the onset I could smell the lemon. As it starts to settle you noticed a bit of a spice blend. Then it gives off notes of what I can only say remind me of clean linen. There are also hints of floral tones as well. I found that as I wore it the scent blend seemed to shed it layers and every so often I’d find a new scent I hadn’t noticed before.

This would be a great scent for the upcoming spring or summer seasons. It’s light and airy. it also can be used by either gender. It’s long lasting. I usually only apply my scents once a day. After five or six hours of wear I could still smell a light fragrance of Replica Under the Lemon Trees.

Final Thoughts

Being that this is considered a high-end product overall it is worth the money in my opinion. If you use it sparingly or for special occasions they may justify the price point. Currently, it is sold at Sephora . They offer two sizes a travel size for $28 (USD) and the full-size bottle for $128 (USD). If you’re hoping it in a store you may want to call to check to see if they have it in stock.

I found that the scent complimented me and was long-lasting. It gave me a nice reminder that spring is right around the corner. I liked the fragrance layers that the scent had as well. As it faded or even settled on the skin a new scent seemed to emerge. It also loved that the lemon scent wasn’t overwhelming or artificial. Thanks again to Viewpoints and Maison Margiela for this reviewing opportunity.
