I was selected to test this primer a few weeks back. I believe it was from Bzzagent. I’ve tried Pur Cosmetics in the past and liked their Correcting Primer Illuminate & Glow. https://www.purcosmetics.com/collections/makeup-face-primer/products/color-correcting-primer-illuminate-glow-mini This 4-in-1 primer is stated to help or reduce redness, pore reducer, and skin soother. It may also help tired or dull skin. It does have AHA (Alpha Hydroxy acid ) in it. So there is a sun sensitivity warning. Overall it’s a lightweight primer. It’s more the consistency of a cream as opposed to a thick primer. It is a dewy finish. I’ve tried it twice so far and I have mixed feelings about it. The first time I tried it I felt like it didn’t work well with my foundation. It seemed to be too dewy when I prefer a natural or matte finish. I also felt that my makeup didn’t settle right. The second time I used it I didn’t notice as much of a dewy finish but still didn’t think it worked well with my foundation. I don’t know if this is because the foundation is oil-free/silicone-free. Even with a moisturizer, I didn’t feel the primer lived up to its hydrating claim either. Maybe it’s best for someone with combination skin as opposed to my dry skin. Another thing I didn’t care for was the box. It’s very reflective and hard to read. For the $33 USD price point, I was expecting a bit more effectiveness.
