I would like to thank Tomoson.com and Davaon for allowing me to review this anvil pruner at a discount.
My mom is an avid gardener so I am always on the look out for garden tools that will make her gardening experience easier. When I came across this promo on Tomosonβs website I figured Iβd apply. We had never used anvil pruners before and thought it would nice to try them.
Well they arrived last week and I was surprised to see how nice they were. They are in my opinion professional quality. They have a very nice rotating handle that allows you a comfortable grip without straining your hands. The blades themselves have grooves in them that give you an even grip with each cut. They also offer just the right amount of resistance when trimming dry branches. The pruners have a locking latch for safety and for easier storage. They can cut material up to 7 inches in diameter. I used it to trim some dry branches my mom leaves in her garden beds. It offers a nice clean cut. According to Davaon Anvil pruners are used more for trimming dead branches and dry stems because they cause a crushing effect. They may damage or injure living or soft tissue plants. All I can say is that they are very sturdy pruners that with proper care will last you a long time.Β
I will update this post with a youtube link once it is available.
