Persil Pro Clean Discs

I was sent some bonus samples from Sampler.io recently. I was happy to try the Persil Pro Clean Discs. I’ve tried them in the past and loved them. I like that they are easy to use and cut down on waste. I also don’t have to hassle with measuring laundry detergent.

The discs are a nice size and very colorful. As with any product of this type they do need to be kept out of reach of small children and pets.

The Persil Pro Clean Discs arrived individually packed. You can use one disc or more depending on the size of your laundry load. I’ve used them in the past and like that I can use them in my HE front loader. They are also so easy to use. You just toss one or two discs into the washer and add your laundry. You can also use other laundry products with them.

Overall the discs are a nice size and are brightly colored.

Overall the discs are nice because they cut down on waste. You don’t have to worry about lugging a bottle or box of laundry detergent home from the store. The discs are sol in a small tub so it’s space saving too.

User experience

As I mentioned I’ve used these discs in the past so I knew what to expect. Overall they work well. I didn’t feel that they left any type of soapy or a film on my clothing, bedding or towels. The detergent does have a scent to it. It’s not too strong but it is sort of a citrus smell. I find it to be a bit lemony. It’s not anything too off putting.

If you do have a stain you may need to pre-treat it before washing. I didn’t have any fading of my laundry. As far as the stain removal power goes. It was about average. I didn’t see any big change in removal of older or set in stains. They may have faded a bit but they weren’t gone. I did feel my whites did look a bit brighter. But again this may very from user to user.

I liked that the scent is light and airy. You notice it as you remove your laundry from the washer and may notice hints of it after you dry it. I notice the scent lasted on some of my shirts for a few days.

final thoughts

Persil Pro Clean Discs are a great additon to any laundry room. They cut down on waste and the package is easy to store. I found that it did it’s job in term of getting my laundry clean. Like with any laundry product it may vary from user to user.

But I can say I will purchase these in the future.
