Now that the weather is warming up I thought I’d share some of Pal’s go-to hydration drinks.
I drink a lot of water during the summer but at times you may need a bit more.
1. Coconut water
I recently went back to drinking coconut water. I like that it’s light and refreshing. You can buy it from a variety of brands and at many stores. It’s even better if you can get it straight from a coconut.
I like that a more natural hydration product. You don’t need to drink a lot. You can find coconut water at the grocery store. I would suggest reading the ingredient list though to make sure it’s the most natural form.
I’ve purchased a few cartons from Aldi and my local Kroger affiliate grocery store. I also found it sold on Amazon .
2. Drip Drop
I’ve tried a few samples of Drip Drop and I love it. I like that the powder dissolves well in water. It doesn’t have any aftertaste either. I’ve tried the Strawberry flavor and like it. It’s fruity but not too sweet.
The packets are small and can be carried in a purse or pocket and used when on the go.
3. Gatorade
I know Gatorade sometimes gets a bad wrap due to ingredients and color additives. Yet I feel it does help rehydrate you.
They make it in many forms, from the traditional drink to Gatorade water. An electrolyte powder was released a few years back.
I find it helps keep me hydrated when water doesn’t work as well. Best of all you can find Gatorade everywhere.
4. Liquid IV
Liquid IV is similar to Drip Drop it’s a powder you can add to any water. The packets are small and can be carried in a purse, bag, or pocket. The powder dissolves well.
I’ve tried the lemon/lime, strawberry, and passionfruit flavors. They are good but I will admit some flavors may have an aftertaste to them. They do offer a nice hydration boost.
