I thought I’d share a few more of our favorite products that we tried this year. Some were gifted from sampling or testing panels while others I purchased myself.

Art supplies

I used my fair share of art supplies this year but I’ve found a few that I loved. I purchased all of these items myself.

beads and crystals

This year I tried my hand at a few bead and crystal crafts. They turned out pretty well. I made a friend of mine a wind chime and a beaded butterfly.

I purchased my items from various sources but mainly from Amazon.

metal and wire

I purchased a few types of wire as well. one was a 20 gauge wire and the other was 12 gauge. They both work well but I will note if you are going to be using beads make sure they are a larger mm in order to fit the 12 gauge wire.

paint pouring supplies

I also did a few paint-pour projects as well. I found a few supplies I like this year.

I found some silicone mats I like to use when doing various products as well as silicone cups.

Paints

I really liked the Mondo llama paints from Target. They are reasonably priced and hold up well.

Entertainment

I joined a few new streaming services last year. Each has its own appeal. Some also have exclusive content. That being said let me share the ones I like the most.

amazon prime video

I like Amazon prime because if you are a member you also have access to their video library and their add-on channels.

Amazon Prime Video has a lot of great content and some pretty popular original shows.

You can also add on channels as well.

Amazon prime video recently added HBO Max again to its channel list. You can start a 7-day free trial.

Paramount plus

Paramount plus has a variety of content. It offers access to comedy central, MTV, Smithsonian Channel, Nickelodeon, BET, and CBS programs.

I love that it’s had some good original content as well.

You can also bundle your streaming with Showtime. I have this offer and love it.

skincare

I tried a few skincare products I like this year.

Hero Cosmetics

I’ve tried a number of products from this brand. Mainly their mighty patches. But they have some great skincare products as well.

Gentle Milky Cleanser is nice. it doesn’t have too much lather and doesn’t dry out my face too much. I liked that it didn’t strip my skin.

Pore Release is a great product for blackheads. Even if you don’t have them it still helps deal with clogged pores. For me, it worked best on my nose. It helped keep my pores clean and didn’t cause any irritation.

This product does have AHA so you will need to use sunscreen.

Tech

I recently bought myself a new smartphone this year. My old Samsung Galaxy S5 was old, to say the least.

I had wanted to buy a newer Samsung flagship S series phone but I noticed none of them had expandable storage. So I opted for a mid-range A series.

I bought the Samsung Galaxy A53 5g.

So far I’ve been happy with it. I haven’t had any major issues or complaints. you can add up to 1TB of external storage. It’s water-resistant and dust-resistant (to a degree). it also has good-quality sound and the images are great. The only con I found was that here in the US it’s only sold in black.

You can purchase International versions that have various colors. You may want to reach out to your cell provider before making the purchase to make sure it will be compatible with your plan.

But that can be remedied by buying a colorful case.
