Back in December of 2019, I was sent an email from Pinchme. I had been selected for a free sample skincare product. Well, I figured it was going to be a sample pouch or maybe a small sample tube. I will admit sometimes the samples may show a full-sized product and you are sent the examples listed above. I saw it was an Olay product I thought I’d give it a try.

So when the sample arrived I was happy it was a full-size product. The Olay Wrinkle Correction Serum – Vitamin B3 + Collagen Peptides can be used with the rest of the Anti-aging line Olay offers or added to your existing routine.

Product Overview

Olay Wrinkle Correction Serum – Vitamin B3 + Collagen Peptides bottle is 1.13 Fl oz and has a dropper style lid. The serum is a white consistency. The product can be used on a cleansed face prior to applying your moisturizer.

It’s stated to help improve the improve fine lines and wrinkles. Some of the ingredients may also plump and hydrate your skin as well. You can use the product Serum

It should be noted that according to Olay you may see results in 28 days* Everyone user is different. That is if you use it as suggested which is twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. Also according to Olay, it can be used for all skin types.

User Experience

Overall I’ve been using the product once a day mainly at night. I can say that so far I haven’t been impressed by it. I also don’t have a large number of fine lines. As for wrinkles I take into account my expression lines and my frown lines along with some larger wrinkles I have on my forehead.

As you can see from the slide show above the serum is a thicker consistency. It’s also a milky white color. It blends clean and does give a cooling effect to the skin. I did find it to be a bit oily.

Here’s what I liked

• I felt it helped keep my face hydrated even when I applied my moisturizer. Since I’ve been using it at night I notice I don’t wake up with my face feeling dry in the morning.

• The dropper is a great way to control the amount of serum you need.
• The serum hydrated my face without leaving sticky or tacky.

Here’s what I didn’t like

• I felt the bottle was too big for the amount of serum. So basically wasteful packaging.
• The serum has a bit of a scent to it. It’s faint but it’s there. For me, it has a faint plastic scent. This may be due to the fact that I am nearing the end of the bottle. But for those who have scent sensitivities this may be an issue.
• The serum felt a bit oily after applying it.

Final thoughts

Overall Olay Olay Wrinkle Correction Serum – Vitamin B3 + Collagen Peptides Serum was a nice product to sample but I will not be purchasing it. The price is listed currently as $28.99 (USD). I thought that was a bit high because as I mentioned your paying for the serum and the large plastic bottle. Which sort of misleading in my opinion. A glass bottle might also be a better way to go too.

I also didn’t notice a big difference in my skin either. I felt it did hydrate and moisturize my face but my more noticeable wrinkles are still there. They may be a bit smoother but their still there.

I would think this would be great for someone who is combatting finer lines such as smile lines or crows feet. But for the price point, I didn’t think it would be worth my money.
