There seems to be a new scam email claiming you’re the winner of a Temu Pallet. Doesn’t that sound a little fishy to anyone else?

I’ve had 3 this week alone. This is the first time I’m seeing the emails so I assume it’s a new phishing scam.

The senders

I’ve had 3 in total over the last week. But two were from what looked like legitimate business. One was from Home Goods and the other was from Adorama. I knew both were spam messages because neither business is associated with Temu. I was wondering if the newsletter services that the brands use may have been hacked.

But that’s just a suspicion on my part.

The third email was from the following sender:

great@demogriffice.com

I assume this is a fake email address. It was sent to an old Yahoo account I have.

The email message

The messages vary by email but the one sent from the address listed above is the following:

The email itself was pretty simple but it was bright and eye-catching.

Temu Pallet email. Email message reads: Please note thatMissing or incorrect shipping details may cancel delivery. You have won an Temu Pallet You Have Been Selected to Participate! Temu team ® TEMU® ORDER #68442 Claim your TEMU PALLET your winning prizes Please confirm and provide your shipping information YOU ARE OUR WINNER Claim your package 📦🚚

The other emails were blank because the images were removed by Gmail. So they were basic link text saying Congratulations You have won an Temu Pallet.

Where the emails link

I was able to hoover my cursor over the link that was included in the email from Home Goods. The link seems to send you to a TJ Maxx URL. But I assume it’s a redirection link that will send you somewhere else. Or to a Phishing form that asks you to fill in your information.

example of Scam Temu pallet link. it redirects you to a TJ Maxx link.
why would this Temu link redirect you to a TJ. Maxx link?

What type of scam is this?

I can only guess that this is a phishing scam. The links redirect you to a form or some other form of sign-up page. Which in turn asks for your personal information. I can only assume this is a new scam because Temu is so popular.

Think before you click the link

Let’s take a moment to think about this email for a minute.

Why or how would you win a Temu Pallet? Especially if you aren’t a Temu user.

Then let’s take it a step further to ask what would the pallet contain.

Always check the sender email address if it’s something completely unrelated to the prize won you know it’s a scam.

Don’t fall for this scam email. Let’s get the word out.
