I recently requested a sample of Nexxus Keraphix. The sample packets were a nice size. They had enough product for two days use. I was very happy with the overall results but I’ll get to that in a bit. I hadn’t used a Nexxus product in many years. Since it’s summer I figured I would give it a try. Since it’s been hot my hair has been showing signs of damage due to the weather and that I constantly put it up. My ends were starting to look bad.Â
Shampoo
The packets had enough for two days use (for me anyway). As you can see the shampoo is a creamy consistency. It’s opaque and whitish in coloration. It has a floral almost perfumed scent to it. It lathered well and didn’t seem to leave my hair weighed down. it rinsed clean. I also noticed that it didn’t leave my hair feeling squeaky clean either. I will say this much the shampoo was a bit runny but that may have just due to separation while shipping.Â
Conditioner
The conditioner was a thick consistency. it was white in coloration. I found that it coated my wet hair. It didn’t leave my hair feeling oily or greasy as I ran it through my hair. It rinsed clean. Again it had a nice scent. It didn’t weigh my hair down either. Â
The Results
Well, this was the final result after two days of using the products. Granted two days isn’t always time to give you a fair review. But I can say it did help my hair. I liked that it didn’t strip my hair or leave it feeling crunchy. I had tried other Keratin protein products that had done that in the past. Nexxus Keraphix left my hair looking healthier. It didn’t weigh it down nor did it leave it dull. I found the Keratin did help coat my hair. Â
I know I will have to buy a full-size product to get the full effect or benefits of the shampoo and conditioner. But for now, I can say this sample was worth trying.Â
