Two makeup looks that struck me last night.

Yesterday I shared this picture. I was reviewing a few different makeup products. For this picture, i used Vapour Organic Beauty products and @covergirl Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation. I will say this much my makeup usually looks the same as you’ve probably noticed. Last night i had a thought strike me and today  I figured I’d try it out. 

Since I’m a glasses wearer I always feel that people see my glasses first before they see the rest of my face. This may not be the case but I feel this way. So today I figured I’d have a little fun and try to play up the look ideas I had.

LOOK ONE -Dark shadow light liner

This was the first look. I did my foundation as usual and tried to play up my eys a bit. The eyeliner is pink but it looks white. I gave myself a dark eye and lined it with the light eyeliner.

there’s a better look at my shadow and liner. I also took some pictures in natural light so you can see how my makeup looked.

As you can see in both pictures the eye liner gives my eyes a bit of a shimmer effect is all I can say. It also calls your attention to my eyes as well.I also tried to keep my lip a bit of a light shade of pink as I did with my blush.

LOOK TWO – SHIMMER SHADOW WITH BRIGHT LINER AND BOLD LIP

so as you can see here’s a picture I took with my glasses on. 

Here’s the look with out my glasses. I gave myself a shimmery eye. I gained this effect by applying illuminator to my eye lids first. Then I applied the shadow. I tend to buy inexpensive eye shadow pallets I find when I’m out shopping. I also used a eyeshadow that has a bit of shimmer in it. 

I also blended out the top liner a bit. The color is a purple and a blue I think.

These two pictures give you a better view of my makeup in indoor light. i think the lip color paired nicely.

I took this picture outside so you could see what I looked like in natural light. 

So, all in all, I had some fun trying to play up my look. Granted I don’t know if I really achieved much of a change but it was fun all the same.
