There are times when you need to treat a breakout. Not all breakouts are the same nor can they be treated the same way.
These product suggestions are for typical acne issues such as whiteheads or general pimples.
Acne combating kits
Some people like to use a multi-step system that helps treat or combat acne issues. Everyone’s results will vary. If you have sensitive skin always test post products before first-time use.
Derma-E kit
This acne kit is great. it includes all you need to treat blemishes and breakouts. From cleansers to spot treatments.
Dr. Zenovia ACNE SOLUTIONS SYSTEM
This kit is very effective. It has Benzoyl Peroxide in two of the products. Benzoyl Peroxide can dry out active acne. Once again you may want to spot test your skin before using. Benzoyl Peroxide can cause excessive dryness and in some cases may cause peeling.
Hero Cosmetics Acne KitÂ
This new acne kit by Hero Cosmetics looks pretty good. it includes their popular mighty patches as well as a spot treatment gel and replenishing product.
Spot treatments
Spot treatments vary from a gel or cream spot treatment to zit sticker-style products.
Overnight spot treatments
Derma-E also has a rather unique spot treatment you can use overnight. It’s a calamine lotion but it includes sulfur. It does have a sulfur scent to it. But it fades quickly. You take a cotton swab and dip it into the bottle and apply the product to your acne.

I will suggest once again that you spot test. Also read all the directions on the product’s box. Some acne products may cause sun sensitivity or excess dryness.
Neutrogena spot treatment
Neutrogena has an AM stubborn acne spot treatment. Personally, I used this product at night because it had a sun sensitivity notice on it. Basically, the box suggests you use sunscreen when going outdoors.
You can use it on your entire face or spot treat an outbreak. This may cause dryness. This has micronized Benzoyl Peroxide.
Neutrogena also has a duo (AM/PM treatment products) too.
Mighty patches
Mighty patches are basically zit stickers. You can apply them to a pimple that has a white head and leave it there for 6 hours. There are different forms of these patches but they work well.
Which product is right for you?
You may have to try a few different products to see which one is right for you. Everyone has different skin reactions to products so always spot test.
