I came across a scent sample recently. It was another Facebook post I think. I find so many samples at times I lose track. Anyway I thought the name struck me as unique and a bit odd. Who would name a perfume Mutiny. I requested the sample and didn’t think anything of it.
I will say that i was surprised how quickly the sample arrived. It was a simple spray tube tester. The color of the perfume is a light golden color.
As you can see the sample tube was a decent size. Depending on how heavily you apply the scent will give you an estimate of uses. Personally I’ve been able to get at least two uses out of it. I have a bit left. I may save that for the next time i go out.
Overall the scent is very floral and feminine. It’s light and airy but there’s a twist of citrus. The Citrus catches you. It’s a light mixture of floral scents such as jasmine but the citrus blossom and citrus stand out. It’s subtle but it’s there. I found that it’s long lasting and a few applications on your pulse points is enough. The scent lingers even as it fades. I wore it all day recently and even as it waned I’d catch quick hints of it in my hair. I thought the scent complimented me. It also included many fragrances I love.
I didn’t have any adverse reactions to the product. Nor did i feel that it was overwhelming as a scent. Now for the name. It’s unique I’ll give Maison Margiela Paris that. I wouldn’t have thought of a floral scent to have a name like Mutiny. It makes you pause and want to learn more. All in all, I loved the sample.
