As most of you might know I enjoy listening to music. Granted most of it is stuff from the 90′s but it varies depending on my day or mood. For example, I’m challenging myself to have a 90′s music week.

I’m currently listening to Temple of the Dog. I know my next few days will be filled with Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails, and U2 just to name a few.

While I was listening to music the other day the thought struck me to create a music challenge. I am usually very open to learning more about music genre’s and I enjoy people who share music with me. 9 times out of 10 I enjoy it too.

So here’s the challenge:

The rules are basic:

1. share a music post and tag me using any social platform I use.

You can add a short comment of why you like the song or why you’d like to share it with me.

Here are my screen names for my social sites

Instagram: @nessa6297

Twitter: @vanessa6297

Facebook: @reviewsandsavingspal

Tumblr: @reviewsandsavingspal

Spotify: Spotify:user:vanessa6297

2. You can challenge your friends as well. I figured this would be something fun to try.

Here’s my submission for today

I opted to share Hunger Strike by Temple of the Dog.

No matter how old I get this song will always stop and make me listen. I don’t know if it’s the tempo or the powerhouse of Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell’s vocals but it still resonates with me all these years later.

So let’s see how this works out and see what we can learn from each other’s music submissions.
