thumbnail image source pixabay.com I thought since I’d been talking about scams this month I’d end on the same topic. there are so many scams going around that I have trouble keeping up. But I thought I’d share two that I’ve come across. It appears that now sending an email address and requesting you send an email is another way scammers are keeping active. I had one via a deal sharing site I’m a part of. A forum post I found that was also a request from a sender at a Gmail account

As usual text messages are common but my dad had one a few weeks back stating our Netflix account would be canceled. We don’t use Netflix and when I did some digging the scam was based in Africa. So just beware of some of these techniques. You can always connect your service provider directly. As for messages via sites or social media, you can report them to the site if they have that option. Never email a random email address that is sent requesting you contact them. You never know what you may end up in.
