Sage Shampoo Travel size sample

A few months back I requested a sample product from Maple Holistics. Well as time went by I was had forgotten about it. I did, however, get to collaborate with them for a few posts. you can read more about those here and hereĀ I was contacted a few weeks ago by a representative from Maple Holistics asking me if I was still interested in the Sage Shampoo sample. I said yes that I was. The sample arrived on December 18th, 2017.

As you can see from the photo above it was a basic travel size sample of shampoo. Maple Holistcs shampoos are creamy and white in color. The offer a few different kinds with various infusions. Maple Holistics shampoos and conditionersĀ are sulfate free. Being that this was a trial size it seemed to work well. I didn’t have any adverseĀ reactions to the ingredients.

Here is the ingredient list I copied it from Maple Holistics product page.

Jojoba Oil, Botanical Keratin, Sage Oil, Peach Kernel Oil, Spikenard Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Rosemary Oil.

I will say that the shampoo worked well it did soften my hair and didn’t cause any itching of my scalp. According to the website, it may help with dandruff issues.

I finished the sample on 1-10-2018. I was very impressed with the effect it had on my hair. Even though it was a sample it gave my hair body. it didn’t weight it down or leave it limp.

I will admit the shampoo does have a rather strong sage scent. But again this was a sample size so the scent may have been more concentrated. It’s nothing too overwhelming but you do notice it. By the time your hair dries it fades. I noticed that it worked with well my current conditioner as well.
