When I was contacted by a rep from Mama’s Kitchen asking me if I would like to review this ceramic knife set I figured sure why not. Boy was I surprised. I have never used a ceramic knife set so this really exciting. I was uses to seeing the standard white enamel ceramic knives. This is the first time I had seen the black ones.
I know knife sets aren’t that exciting but for me this one was. As I mentioned I’d never used a ceramic knife before. I had seen them but never purchased one. I found this set to be perfect. It comes with the essential knives you need for everyday use.
The set includes the following:
3 inch paring knife, 4 inch paring knife, 5 inch utility knife, 6 inch chef’s knife, a 7 inch chef’s knife, along with a peeler and pair of 8 inch ceramic scissors.
The stand is very nice and compact. It is made of acrylic with metal accents. ti also has the option to fan out the knives once they are in the stand. It also includes a loop for the peeler and the scissors. this set is perfect for anyone how is starting out or can be giving as a gift. Due to its’ compact design it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. The knives are to be hand washed and dried.
