I hadn’t had a chance to open this product until today. I’ve shared a few different LXMI products over the last few years. I purchased this lotion back in late 2019. I always love the colorful designs LXMI has on its packaging.
I think I’ve been using LXMI products since around 2017. I requested a free sample product and fell in love with the products. They are natural and cruelty-free. They have facial and body products.
The product
The CRÈME DU NIL BODY LOTION is a lightweight rich moisturizing cream. It isn’t oily or greasy. You can apply it as needed. You can use one to two pumps and work into dry skin.
It includes one of LXMI’s key ingredients Nilotica .
The bottle size is 7.5 fl oz.

User Experience
Since I’ve used LXMI products in the past I had an idea of what to expect from this lotion. I found it to be creamy yet lightweight. It melts into the skin and absorbs quickly. You feel your skin is hydrated with out feeling oily or greasy.
The CRÈME DU NIL BODY LOTION is a creamish color. It’s thick yet not too heavy as I mentioned above. I used one pump for the photo above. So it’s about a quart size of product. There is alight scent. I noted hints of lemon. But remember i purchased this bottle in 2019 so the scent may have changed slightly as it settled in the bottle.
The scent isn’t overwhelming or too strong. It’s light. The CRÈME DU NIL BODY LOTION absorbs within a few seconds to a few minutes. This may vary depending on the state of your skin as well as the area it was applied.
I applied some to my hands just know and it absorbs well. It does leave a slight sheen on my hand but nothing too bad. I also don’t feel that my hands are oily or greasy. It feels like a hydrating layer on the skin.
I also tried it on my legs earlier and it had the same effect. I didn’t feel like my skin was tight or itchy. Like with any product depending on your skin type you may need to reapply during the day. And hydration or moisturizing factors may also vary by your environmental conditions as well.
Final thoughts
Overall I loved LXMI CRÈME DU NIL BODY LOTION. Like other LXMI products this one lives up to their standards. It’s lightweight yet moisturizing and hydrating to the skin. I liked the scent and felt it’s not too heavy or overwhelming.
