This is the second milk frother I have reviewed this year. If you would like to learn more about the other product click here. This a very powerful milk frother. Lux Essentials milk frother is very comfortable to hold and very powerful. Thanks to it’s double coils it quickly makes your milk foam. It adds a touch of a coffee house experience in the comfort of your own kitchen.
According to Lux Essenitals they suggest you take a flat knife edge to help remove the battery cover the first time you open it. The frother runs on two AA batteries which are not included. Once you insert the batteries and replace the cover it is ready to use.
This forther has one main power button you can push it once for a continuous use or you can pulse it for short bursts. I would suggest you place a plate under your drink or have a paper towel handy because I made a mess the first time I used it. I think I over filled my cup of coffee. I did test it out with a glass of milk and found it very comfortable to hold and easy to operate. The body is plastic with the stainless steel rod and double coils.
this was the end result of using the frother with a standard glass of whole milk. This would be great if you would love to mix cream into a dish or even a cup of coffee.
I also using some wheat grass powder and it worked well. It broke down the powder and make my drink very foamy. Here’s my wheat grass drink after using the frother. I think this would be great to use with any powdered drink because it breaks down any clumps leaving you with a smooth drink.
