LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Lip Treatment

I came across a social media free sample ad request recently. I hadn’t tried anything from the brand Laneige so I figured I’d request the lip mask. I’d also never tried an overnight lip treatment either.

The LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Lip Treatment arrived quickly. I was sent a 0.08 oz jar with a notecard.

It’s a pink shade in a pick and blue box. This is the Berry flavor (original) The instant I opened the small jar I could smell a mix of Berries. Blueberries, and strawberries. I also notice a hint of raspberry too.

The box states you can apply a generous amount to your lips before bed. You can wipe off any product in the morning. It’s stated to help reduce flakiness along with hydrating and nourishing your lips.

The package nor Laneige states if it can be used daily or weekly. So i would say try it once a week then as needed.

User experinece

My lips didn’t have any signs of flakiness or chapping much. But I figured I’d give this a try. It’s a balm consistency. So it’s easy to apply.

I would suggest using a spatula if you don’t want to put your fingers in the product. I used the back of my nail and dug out a small amount. Since the directions state to apply generously to your lips it’s to your discretion I guess.

As I mentioned you apply it like lip balm. I didn’t have any adverse reactions. My lips didn’t feel irritated in anyway. I did find it soothing to the skin. You notice the berry scent as you apply it. It almost reminds me of scented lip balm.

I applied it a few hours before bed. When I woke up the next morning I did notice that my lips felt less dry. They also didn’t feel as rough.

I didn’t see any signs of flaking or raised skin. I wiped the excess mask off my lips as i washed my face that morning. Overall it seems to do what it states it does.

Final thoughts

Overall I can say that LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Lip Treatment did what it stated it would. I didn’t have any adverse reactions. I also didn’t feel like my lips showed any signs of color changes or redness. The scent is inviting. This may be a product for those of you who tend to have dry lips.

The consistency is easy to apply and absorbed well into the lips. I didn’t feel like they were oily or greasy. You did feel the mask but it wasn’t anything different from using lip balm.
